| ForthTox Ltd offers assessments of chemical toxicity and metabolic fate using predictive software such as Derek Nexus, Leadscope and Meteor. These have considerable potential for highlighting problems and may be used for prioritising candidates for development as well as being a useful part of assessments conducted under REACH, where it may help to reduce the use of costly in vivo tests. Many regulatory agencies, including the US FDA and the EMA, now accept negative software predictions from these softwares in lieu of some in vitro and in vivo assays.
